Terms
Last updated 3 November 2026. Draft for launch: have these read by a lawyer before taking real payments.
What this is
Roastometer gives you an AI-written critique of a landing page you link to or upload a screenshot of. It is meant to be useful and funny. It is not professional, legal or financial advice, and the score is an opinion, not a measurement.
Your uploads
- Only upload screenshots of web pages you have the right to share. Do not upload anything private, such as IDs, messages or documents.
- You keep all rights to your page. We do not claim any.
- We use your screenshot only to write your roast. We do not keep it.
The roast
- Roasts are generated by an AI model, so they can be wrong or miss context. Check them before you act.
- A roast is about your page, never about you. If one crosses a line, tell us and we will fix the prompt.
- Roast pages and share cards are kept while your account exists and can be opened by anyone who has the link. Share the link only if you are happy for others to see the roast.
Fair use
Roasts and page checks are limited per day, and we may pause roasts when we are busy. Please do not try to get around the limits or load the service with automated requests.
Buying a roast
You need a Google account to buy a roast. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. A roast is a one-time purchase for a single page. If it fails to generate, you can retry it without paying again.
Refunds
If we can't deliver a roast you paid for (the page won't load, the model declines it, or it keeps failing), we refund that payment in full, automatically. That includes the whole $4 of a full roast, even if its quick roast was already shown. A roast that was delivered is final, except where the law says otherwise. If something went wrong with yours, email support@roastometer.com.
If you pay twice for the same roast (two tabs, say), we refund the second payment in full, automatically, and your roast carries on.
No guarantees
The service is provided as it is. We are not liable for decisions you make from a roast, or for lost sales or traffic. Where the law does not allow us to limit liability, those limits do not apply.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Questions: email support@roastometer.com.
